Grand-Master Young started martial arts training at the age of 5, learning the Wing-Chun system of Kung-Fu under Wu Sing Li.  At age 11 he trained under Golden Gloves Boxing Champion Dave Gordon, and had 27 amatuer and professional fights.  After induction into the Armed Forces he studied Japanese Karate during his Special Forces training.  Grand-Master was fortunate enough to have studied under many great masters, one of those being Grand-Master Byong-Yuu, the martial artist of the century.  Young has continued his training and is still teaching in Tae Kwon Do style of American Chundo-Kwon.  He has been training and teaching in Texas for over 20 years.

4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do

Mrs. Young began training in 1994 under Grand Master Young. She currently holds the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt and is co-owner of Family Martial Arts.  She is a 1st grade teacher at Marion Elementary School in Allen, Texas.  Mr. and Mrs. Young have three teenaged sons, Jonathan, Shane and Chase, all of whom earned black belts under Grand Master Young.

3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do

Mr. David began his training in martial arts in 1991 under Grand Master Young, and has attained the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt.  He serves as the Program Director of FMAC and currently teaches the Demo Team classes.  Mr. David graduated from UNT with a degree in music.

Mr. DeSousa began his training in 1993 in martial arts under Grand Master Young, and has attained the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt.  He is currently attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Mr. Green has been training under Grand Master Young since 1996, and has attained the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Mr. AR began his training in martial arts under Grand Master Young in 1997, and has attained the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt.  He also teaches Algebra at Allen High School.

Miss AR began training in 1996 with Grand Master Young in Tae Kwon Do, and has attained the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt.  She is currently preparing for her entrance to MIT.

Mrs. Gunderson began her martial arts training under Master Young in August of 1999.   She teaches Wednesday night classes and is a substitute teacher in the Allen Independent School District.

Miss Gunderson began training in martial arts in 1999 under Grand Master Young, and has attained the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt. She is currently studying art in college.
